Trent Dilfer, the popular ex-Seahawks quarterback, still has the NCAA record for throws without an interception (271), 14 years after he set it at Fresno State. But Kansas’ Todd Reesing is getting closer, at 205.

Wisconsin’s rivalry with Minnesota turned ugly last week, as the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Gophers wideout Eric Decker punched Wisconsin’s Jack Ikegwuonu in the groin, and Ikegwuonu head-butted Decker. Said Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema, who had a cool postgame handshake with Minnesota counterpart Tim Brewster, “You want a rivalry, you’ve got one.”

Mike Stoops, the Arizona coach, is 5-1 in November against ranked teams - and 8-27 vs. other Football Bowl Subdivision teams (formerly Division 1-A) in any month.
